The WA Police Academy will be swathed in tartan on Sunday November 27 when the WA Police Pipe Band hosts its first annual ‘A Scottish Day Out’.
A chance to celebrate Scotland right here in Perth. On show will be pipe band displays, clan and genealogy information, and stalls containing all things Scottish.
The WA Police Pipe Band will bring out their Napier Tartan and play for the crowds. There will also be other performances by Scottish Highland and country dancing groups.
Prizes can also be won in the Kilted Dash competition.
Sponsored by Police & Nurses, the public is welcome from 10am and entry is free. Parking is available off Kendrew Crescent.
The Academy is located at Lakeside Drive in Joondalup.
