CHOGM officially closed on Sunday and Deputy Commissioner Chris Dawson has spoken of his pride at the compliments received by WA Police during the event. 

“The CHOGM policing operation is nearing an end and we are overwhelmed by the congratulations on outstanding policing over the past week. 

“While there is a little way to go, I am confident that the dedication and professionalism of all Australia and New Zealand Police, and Police staff, has collectively contributed to this operation and upheld the highest of Australian and New Zealand policing standards."
