During the Queen’s Birthday long weekend double demerits will apply between 00.01am on Thursday 27 October 2011 until 11.59pm on Sunday 30 October 2011.

During this period double demerit points will apply to the following offences:

• Speeding
• Seatbelt offences
• Drink driving
• Drug driving
