Regional WA encompasses the entire state of Western Australia with the exception of the metropolitan area.
It is the world's largest single policing jurisdication and covers an area of 2.66 million square kilometres, has 12,500 kilometres of coastline and 132 police sub-districts. Stretching from the Timor Sea and Northern Territory border down to follow the Indian and Southern Oceans to the South Australian border.
