BackPack Safe is a safety and security information package for backpacker tourists travelling in Western Australia.

BackPack Safe consists of an A2 size poster (PDF, 2MB) for displaying at backpacker premises and a handy size wallet card (PDF, 1.6MB) of safety tips and information about:

• Property and valuables
• Vehicles
• Types of ID
• Pubbing and clubbing  
• Important telephone numbers (see below)

BackPack Safe, originally developed by the Town of Vincent in conjunction with WA Police in 2002, has been updated, in collaboration with new partner the City of Perth.
