With 2023 marking the 70th anniversary of the Korean War armistice, and 50 years since the end of the Vietnam War, ANZAC day commemorations around the State remembered those who have served and died in all conflicts and peace keeping operations since the landing of Australian and New Zealand troops in Gallipoli, Turkey on 25 April, 1915.
