Drug and Firearm Squad have charged a man after conducting investigations into an alleged drug trafficking incident.
The investigation commenced when the WA Police Force recently received intelligence in relation to the transportation of a quantity of methlyamphetamine.
On 25 January 2023, police observed the accused riding an electric scooter to an address in Darch.
After departing the Darch address, the accused was picked up by a male driving a white Holden Colorado utility. This vehicle was stopped by police and the accused was subsequently arrested and charged.
As a result of this investigation, police seized approximately 1.2 kilograms of methlyamphetamine.
The 32-year-old man from Girrawheen has been charged with one count of Conspired, incited, accessory after fact or attempted to possess a trafficable quantity of methlyamphetamine with intent to sell or supply.
