Extended Police Station hours and better ways to contact us
Western Australia Police has extended operating hours at selected Metropolitan Police Stations, giving greater in-person access to police assistance.
From 24 July 2017, Armadale, Cockburn and Ellenbrook Police Stations will operate around-the-clock front counter services, giving us a total of ten stations that are open to the public 24 hours a day, seven days a week across the Metropolitan area.
Extended operating hours have also recently commenced at Belmont, Canning Vale and Forrestfield Police Stations, which are now open until 7pm on weekdays. View the list of Police Stations and their operating hours.
Of course, there is often no need for you to attend a Police Station. Policing services are always available around-the-clock, simply by calling for police assistance on 131 444. For matters that do not require Police attendance, every Metropolitan Police Station has mobile numbers allocated for specific suburbs, to book appointments or discuss local issues. You can even follow them on social media. Details can change from time to time, so it’s a good idea to check your local Police Station.
