PAO Induction compile

An Induction Ceremony was held for the newest Police Cadets and Police Auxiliary Officers (Custody Support) in the Dugdale Chipper Pavilion at the Academy last week.

The 34 Cadets and 16 PAOs took part in a Smoking Ceremony and Welcome to Country before formally joining the Police family.

The ceremony introduced attendees to the WA Police Force values of Duty, Teamwork, Integrity and Care and set the scene for the challenges ahead.

Custody Support officers complete eight weeks training at the WA Police Academy and a further four weeks on the job training at the Perth Watch House.

The WA Police Force is currently recruiting additional PAOs (Custody Support) and Police Recruits. Visit the Let's Join Forces website to learn more.
