Police are always happy to see anyone (or anything) decide to go straight, and Katanning Police seem to have achieved that with one of their most crooked customers.
Sergeant Simon Barnett bagged and tagged the visitor to the station, before releasing it in nearby bushland. “Having seen evidence it wanted to go straight (into the bag) it seemed reasonable to think that a caution was all that was needed,” he said.
