Three high-powered vehicles have been seized as a result of some good work by Infringement Management and Operations (IMO) and Traffic Investigators.
A safety camera on Great Eastern Highway, Belmont detected the three vehicles travelling more than 80 kph over the posted speed limit, possibly racing each other.
State Traffic Commander Mike Bell praised the early identification of the offences by IMO and the rapid response by Traffic Investigators, charging the drivers and impounding the vehicles within hours.
“This was a hoon trifecta and a win for the safety of other road users,” Cdr Bell said.
