In partnership with the WA Police Force, The Federation of Western Australian Police and Community Youth Centres (WA PCYC) is a not-for-profit organisation that creates opportunities for young people through the delivery of development and intervention programs and recreational activities.
Through 7 metropolitan centres, 12 regional centres and one camp facility, WA PCYC offers young people the opportunity to participate in healthy, safe and diversionary activities. The diverse range of recreational and educational activities offer youth and youth at risk positive alternatives to engaging in crime and anti-social behaviour.
WA PCYC is different to other organisations delivering youth services because of their partnership with the WA Police Force. WA Police Force officers work with WA PCYC, by referring young offenders and youth-at-risk to programs and activities, which plays a significant role in early intervention and crime prevention strategies.
