Police Rangers

Do you want to take part in exciting activities and learn valuable life skills? Then Police Rangers is for you.

Police Rangers Units operate in selected PCYC Centres and secondary schools throughout Western Australia. The training programs for First Class Ranger and Senior Ranger are currently endorsed by the School Curriculum and Standards Authority of Western Australia and enable Rangers who successfully meet the course standards to gain points towards their WACE (WA Certificate of Education).

The introduction of Police Rangers into secondary schools and PCYC Centres, as part of the Cadets WA program facilitates a commitment by Western Australia Police to interact and form a positive relationship with young people. Funding is made available through Cadets WA, meaning that this activity is offered free of charge (with the exception of special unit events).

Police Rangers is open to everyone, and if you’re aged between 12 and 17 years, then you’re eligible to join.
