Licensing Enforcement Division

The WA Police Force Licensing Enforcement Division manages the compliance and enforcement of licensing across Western Australia, as required by the following legislation:

  • Liquor Control Act (1988);
  • Security and Related Activities (Control) Act;
  • Pawnbroker and Second-hand Dealers Act;
  • Weapons Control Act; and
  • Firearms Act

This includes developing statewide strategies to tackle alcohol consumption and illicit drug use associated with licensed premises.
