Can I request that only a person of the same gender be present whilst I remove my face covering?
Police policy requires officers to afford you with a reasonable degree of privacy and if there is an officer of the same gender present, that officer must conduct the identification.
For operational reasons and practicality it would not be possible to require a female officer to attend in every situation.
