Information still sought re Mullaloo sexual assault

Sex Assault Squad detectives continue to investigate the sexual assault of a woman that occurred around 5am on 24 December 2018 in Mullaloo. A woman in her 40s was walking along the beach track adjacent to Oceanside Promenade when a naked man grabbed her from behind and dragged her down to the ground and sexually assaulted her.

The man fled on foot and was last seen running south. He is described as being 18 to 25-years-old, with brown skin, an athletic build (fit/toned not overly muscular), clean shaven and short brown hair.

Several people were in the area around the time of the assault and police would like to speak to those people, particularly a man and woman who were walking south on the beach track of the Mullaloo car park at around 4.45am. The woman was wearing a red jumper and black pants with a Nike logo on the side and the man was wearing a black long-sleeved top and black shorts.

Detectives are urging the man and woman and anyone else who was in the area around the time of the incident, to contact them through Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
