Bridgetown fatal crash

Major Crash officers are investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred in Bridgetown about 3.10pm on Monday, 10 June 2019.

A black Holden Commodore sedan travelling north along South Western Highway-Warburton Road, collided head on with a white Toyota Landcruiser travelling south on the same road.

The driver of the Holden Commodore, a 39-year-old man suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.  A young boy who was a rear passenger in the vehicle received serious injuries and as airlifted to Perth Children’s Hospital.

The 71-year-old male driver of the Toyota Landcruiser received minor injuries in the crash and was treated at Bridgetown Hospital.
