Mount Barker Fatal Crash

Major Crash Investigation officers are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Mount Barker yesterday afternoon, Sunday 10 January 2021, which resulted in the death of a female passenger.

About 3.15pm, a silver Toyota Landcruiser Prado wagon was travelling south along Albany Highway when near Woogenellup Road, the Landcruiser veered onto the gravel shoulder before rolling several times.

The 18-year-old male driver was conveyed by ambulance to Albany Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

The 17-year-old female passenger received critical injuries and died at the scene.

Major Crash Investigation officers are urging anyone who saw the crash or the Toyota Landcruiser Prado travelling in the area prior to the crash, or has dash-cam vision of either, to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
