Coodanup Fatal Crash

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information regarding a fatal crash in Coodanup today, Sunday 14 November 2021.
 
About 5.15am a silver Nissan X-trail SUV was being driven east on Pinjarra Road. At the same time a dark coloured Honda motorcycle was being ridden west on the same road. The two vehicles collided at the intersection of Ranceby Avenue.
 
The male rider of the Honda motorcycle, who is believed to be a 21-year-old man, was taken by St John Ambulance to Peel Health Campus, where he later died.
 
The 84-year-old male driver of the Nissan SUV was taken by St John Ambulance to Peel Health Campus for treatment of minor injuries he received in the crash.
