Burswood assault and robbery

Perth City Detectives are seeking information regarding an incident in Burswood on Saturday, 30 April 2022 in which a woman was injured.

Around 10.40pm, a 19-year-old woman and her friend were waiting for a ride-share on Glenn Place near the large roundabout at the entrance of the casino, when an unknown man has run out from the carpark and assaulted her. The man grabbed the woman’s handbag, causing her to fall to the ground before running to a white hatchback vehicle that was waiting at the intersection of the roundabout. The vehicle was last sighted heading towards Great Eastern Highway.

The victim was treated in hospital for facial injuries.

The offender is described as having dark skin and was wearing a blue surgical facemask.

Perth City Detectives urge anyone with mobile phone or dash-cam vision of the area around the Glenn Place and Bolton Avenue roundabout outside the casino between 10.20pm and 10.50pm on Saturday 30 April 2022 to upload the vision direct to them at https://wapf.au.evidence.com/axon/citizen/public/300422233012852
