Coomalbidgup (Esperance) fatal crash

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information regarding a fatal crash that occurred in Coomalbidgup (approximately 60kms from Esperance) yesterday, Sunday 31 July 2022.

About 3.55pm, a silver Toyota Landcruiser towing a box trailer was travelling west along the South Coast Highway when the vehicle left the road and struck a tree.

The 40-year-old male driver of the Landcruiser received critical injuries and was conveyed by ambulance to Esperance Hospital where he died a short time later.

Major Crash investigators are conducting an examination of the scene and are appealing for anyone who saw the crash, or the Toyota Landcruiser travelling in the area prior to the crash, to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
