Community Safety Crime Prevention Plans
In collaboration with the police, relevant local and state government stakeholders and agencies the Crime Prevention Community Liaison Unit can accordingly implement successful crime prevention programs or projects that have already been developed, or work with relevant agencies to develop programs on an as needs basis to assist in reducing crime and antisocial behaviours.
Through the Community Engagement Division, 133 Community Safety and Crime Prevention Partnership (CSCP) agreements with local governments have been established throughout the state. This unit continues to work in partnership with Local Governments to help facilitate and develop their CSCP Plans to promote holistic crime prevention within the community.
Local Governments update their CSCP Plans on a regular basis. Please contact your local council if you would like more information on their CSCP Plan.
