Please note:
- If you deal with this notice by paying it, under Section 104(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Act the person named on the notice is accepted as the driver and any applicable demerit points are allocated to them.
- Deliberately paying a notice in the wrong name to avoid penalties (demerit points) is a serious offence which may incur a period of imprisonment.
- Once a Notice is Paid it will not be overturned unless extraordinary circumstances are proved to exist.
Is the notice issued in the name of the offending driver?
No
The name of the actual driver of the vehicle at the time of offence needs to be supplied to WA Police. Complete Part F on the Traffic Infringement Notice and return the Notice to: IMO, Locked Bag 40, Perth Business Centre, Perth WA 6849.
